Things to do in Dorset

Explore the surrounding countryside that Hayden House is nestled in with fantastic walks and trails starting right from your front door.

Splash, play and cool off in the clear and fresh Cerne Stream at the very end of the garden at Hayden House. 

Take a tour of this global award winning vineyard and sample the most delicious sparkling wine that the UK offers (just a little biased) as it is a mere 15mins away from Hayden House. If wine is not your thing then grab a bite to eat at their cafe. They have great evening events too. 

With clear blue waters & white sands you could be mistaken for being in the Caribbean. Walk the dog or stay a little longer in the sunshine - don't go too far as you will reach the nudie bit (or do- no judgement here!). Finish the day with a little stroll up the hill to The Pig On The Beach for a G&T and take in  Studland bay view

The most famous and well pictured hill in Dorset - Gold Hill. Enjoy this quaint and idyllic village. It would be rude not to find the time and stop for a cream tea.  

This National Trust 1000 year old royal castle is world famous and makes for a  glorious day out with lots to learn of our past. Afterwards, why don't you hop on the old stream train and grab some fish & chips in the sea side town of Swanage. 

Only 15 miles away both these iconic landmarks are really not to be missed. Take a picnic and see what the local fishermen bring in for supper. 

A sight to behold and a lovely walk to get there the Cerne Abbus Giant is believed to the the oldest and largest chalk hill drawing in the UK.
